Regular technical service is essential to maintain accuracy and reliability as temperature variations, ageing, power fluctuations or moving the equipment may alter your scale accuracy. Wedderburn’s New Zealand and Australian network of offices and mobile service technicians are able to install new equipment, supply repairs and maintenance services, and conduct major refits and overhauls. Our IANZ laboratories in New Zealand and NATA laboratories in Australia, can provide test reports, calibration reports and performance certificates for ISO requirements and quality control. All Wedderburn test masses are traceable to New Zealand or Australian Standards of Measure. Certificates for trading by weight When trading by weight, it is strongly recommended current Certificates of Accuracy are maintained for your weighing equipment. Wedderburn is authorised to certify approved equipment legal for trade use. Our large force of field technicians are trained and approved as Accredited Persons to issue Certificates of Accuracy to the Weights and Measures Regulations for this purpose. We can also provide full calibrations, making any necessary adjustments or repairs, often all in the same visit. The NZFSA (New Zealand Food Safety Authority) requires you to have an efficient measuring device if you prepare, handle or sell readily perishable food (refer to current New Zealand Food Hygiene Regulations).
