Vertical Form Fill Seal Machines Vertical Form Fill Seal Machines Vertical Form Fill & Seal Machines (VFFS) Vertical Form Fill and Seal Machines are engineered to deliver high speed automated packaging for a wide range of industries and are ideal for both food and non-food products. The process starts with a cylindrical roll of film. The VFFS transfers film from the roll and through the forming shoulder (sometimes referred to as tube or collar). Once transferred through the shoulder, the film then folds and the vertical seal bar extends to seal the back of the bag. Once the desired bag length is fed it is filled with product. Once filled, the horizontal seal bars close, seal and cut the bag providing a finished product that includes a bag with top/bottom horizontal seals and one vertical back seal. With models that produce vertical packs or bags from as small as 25 mm wide or others that form bags up to 300 mm wide, and models for high speed bagging applications up to 100 cycles per minute, we have a Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine to suit most needs.
